Maritimers

It's funny how people cling to summer in the Maritimes. I was out in town around 7:30 a.m. a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty cold. Since my winter jacket ripped and I needed another one, I had to do some layering to keep warm when I went out. I had on a t-shirt, hoodie, my spring/fall jacket, and some gloves. As I looked around me, I noticed that I was wearing almost exactly what other people were too, just different colours. I wonder what scares people about wearing their winter jackets in October? They couldn't have all ripped their old ones and needed new ones......
