Today I went to Moncton's version of the Highland Games. It was fun! My grandparents are from Scotland and I like the music and culture. I watched some of the rock tosses and caber tosses. I was just imagining the thing that started these.
On a small farm in Scotland Alistair is helping William plow the land. "Liam, do you think you could throw this rock farther than me?" says Alistair. "Of course I can, I bet I could throw this tree farther...." says William, and voila the Highland Games started.
On another subject, I forgot that I usually choose intelligent friends who say intelligent things. So when the friend I was with said "you should put on sunblock." I should have done that. Boy my face is red! and my arms....
