Today, while on our walk, one of the kids said she had sunblock in her eyes. Since we were nowhere near a sink or water, I just told her to wait until we got back and do a lot of blinking. Well she didn't like that answer and started crying because it stung (the sunblock). I actually was happy she was crying, not happy that she was upset, because it meant that the tears would cleanse her eyes so I told her to cry until it didn't hurt anymore.
I feel like God wants to say something to me through this and it seems like whatever it is keeps bouncing and won't stick. Do any of you have any ideas what it might be?

Maybe it has something to do with the talk that you and I had the other night, sitting on my bed. I've sort of been thinking on that myself the past couple of days, I could be wrong, of course. But maybe you should try taking the advice that you gave me that night. The 3-ply is in my room.
Oh Rachel, you're wonderful! Perhaps my friend God is letting you know that it's okay to cry because it's cleansing not a sign of weakness. Allow yourself the time you need to feel so that the hurt will go away...just a thought.(by the way...noticed you had your hair up the ohter night ;) )
