Today Ben and I went for our wedding license. It was a little strange. As I get things accomplished and as April goes on, it has been weird to think that I'm finally getting married. I'm very happy about it but it still seems strange.
When the woman at the wedding license place asked me if I was being forced into this, I thought of joking and saying "yes". I thought better of it though because it's a legal document and I really want to get married. Ben said he had the same impulse but we both held in our impulses and now are legally allowed to be married. Woohoo!

It's fun that you're back in the blogosphere!
It's a little surreal to get that document, eh? I'm glad you both decided to play it straight... those official types don't have a sense of humour!
Good luck with the rest of your preparations, friend.
It's funny when I gave it to Scott, I was beaming and he just said "oh good." in a bored-with-this-process kind of way.
I've made a resolution to update weekly. I've even changed the colours to help me with that.
I thought it looked spiffy in here in an I-can't-put-my-finger-on-it way!
I guess these marriage licenses are old hat for Scott by now, eh?
