Yesterday we had potatoes, chicken fingers, and peas for supper. Ian ate all the peas first, as he usually does, then asked for "mo-y". Since they are healthy, I gave him a big spoonful.
Ben is working until 7:30 so it was just Ian and I. I was checking my email because I had finished and Ian was dawdling. I looked over at him to see him stuffing a pea in his nose. I tried to get it out with my fingers but it was stuck up there. Ben had left a pair of pliers on the desk and they got it out. I looked to see if he had gotten any more in there and there was one way up inside. The pliers were too big for that one so I brought Ian upstairs and used some tweezers. It took about a minute but I got the second one out. I took a flashlight and shined it up and couldn't see anymore.
Ian didn't seem like he was in pain but when he saw the pea come out, he got angry. Oh well, at least we didn't have to go to the ER!
