Great Expectations

After Simon was born, Ben and I prayed and asked God for an idea of His timing for our next child.  After Ian, I told God what I wanted and didn't check with Him to see if that was His idea.  You would have thought I'd have learned this lesson by now.  Anyway, we felt like we would have a baby within a year of moving.

Before we left for Christmas up north, I took a test and it was negative.  We left on the 24th and came back the 27th.  The test I took was the last one from a website that we regularly order them from so I had no others.  On Saturday, the 29th, I went to Bingo with my Grandmother and won $33.  It was enough to buy another test so I took it that night and this is the result.

We were quite excited and did a video of Simon with a big brother T-shirt to tell my family.

Our official due date is September 1 but I'm hoping for an August baby.

They did an early ultrasound since I'm getting older and this is our baby at 9 weeks.

It was good to see the heartbeat and watch the baby moving and jumping around.
